Job Summary
Onyx Psychological Solutions, LLC is a culturally responsive, woman-centered private practice located in Augusta, Georgia dedicated to cultivating a safe space for women to seek and experience the fullness of mental wellness. We are currently seeking a Masters Level Clinician who holds a provisional LPC Associate license in Georgia or South Carolina and resides within 30 minutes of the office.
This position is ideal for a compassionate, motivated clinician eager to grow under supportive supervision while serving a diverse population through an inclusive, trauma-informed, and multiculturally grounded lens.
Core Responsibilities

Administer psychological assessments to children, adolescents and adults.

Provide individual and/or group counseling sessions (in person or virtual) to clients within the scope of training and licensure.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for all sessions and client contacts.

Participate in weekly supervision and monthly professional development opportunities.

Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards consistent with LPC Associate licensure.

Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.

Education & Licensure Requirements

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.

Provisional LPC Associate license approved by the Georgia or South Carolina licensing board (required prior to start date).

Reside within 30 minutes of the practice location.

Demonstrated commitment to multicultural competence and inclusive practice.

Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Experience & Skills
-
Proficiency with administering psychological assessments (i.e., WAIS-V, WISC-V, WRAT-5, etc.)

Experience providing psychotherapy (individual or group) preferred.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.

Openness to supervision and feedback as part of professional development.

Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and culturally responsive care.
Compensation
Hourly Rate Based on Billable Hours Per Week:
-
$20/hour for 5–15 billable hours per week
-
$22/hour for 16–25 billable hours per week
Payment Schedule:
-
Payments are issued biweekly based on approved billable hours.

Clinicians must submit all session documentation and billing logs by the end of each pay period for payment processing.
Compensation Example:
-
10 client contact hours per week = $200 ($20 × 10)
-
20 client contact hours per week = $440 ($22 × 20)
Early Session Conclusion:
-
Sessions concluded early will be compensated proportionally based on the actual duration (e.g., 30-minute session = 50% rate). Sessions under 30 minutes are not considered full sessions and will be prorated accordingly.
Cancellations and No-Shows:
-
Clinicians are not compensated for client cancellations or no-shows.

Clinicians are responsible for adhering to Onyx’s cancellation procedures and documenting all schedule changes appropriately.

Work Schedule

Minimum of 5 billable hours per week required; up to 25 billable hours per week available.

Clinicians have flexibility to schedule sessions in coordination with client availability and office hours.
